The Otis Hotel Austin, Autograph Collection

It’s rare to have top-notch, above and beyond, no fuss and genuine customer service nowadays. From the moment I called to inquire about staying to the end of the stay, we were met with unbelievably helpful service. We have a family of 5 and it’s always difficult to find a place that is willing to accommodate. Trent and his team offered us viable options including an upgrade that would be able to fit our family. My older kids had fun picking out vinyls and the younger one enjoyed complimentary snacks. Every member of the staff was amazing from the front desk to the restaurant staff to the vinyl DJ. The vibe of the hotel is hip yet family friendly. The location is ideal for west campus. We travel quite a bit and the service is one of the BEST we’ve ever had, including top tier hotels and customer service in Japan. Thank you Trent and the staff for a most memorable stay.

We stayed here on new years to be a little closer to the downtown fireworks. We have been here before but only for the restaurant and the rooftop. The stay did not disappoint. Rooms were modern, clean and comfortable. We were only 1 floor under the DJ at the rooftop and couldn’t hear a thing. Staff was professional and the record players were a nice touch.

The Otis has become our home away from home in Austin. Our son attends UT, so we love staying close to him whenever we visit. The staff is always wonderful and welcoming. We really enjoy the on-site restaurant, Acre 41, and the rooftop bar, Otopia Rooftop—both offer great menu options and excellent service. The location is perfect, just minutes from everything downtown, and the rooms are consistently clean, comfortable, and stylish.

Trent, The concierge, did an amazing job. Made my daughter’s birthday celebration amazing and her friends felt comfortable staying at the hotel. The accommodations this hotel has to offer, The location and the atmosphere. Are there many reasons to stay at this hotel. But Trent went above and beyond. For their staff alone, it is worth staying at The Otis.

My husband and I stayed at The Otis to celebrate our anniversary, and it was such a memorable experience. After mentioning our special occasion at check-in, we were surprised with a thoughtful gift later in the evening: a bottle of wine, delicious chocolates, and a personalized card signed by several team members. It was such a kind and personal touch that really made our anniversary feel extraordinary. One of the standout features at The Otis was the vinyl record players in the room. We were able to enjoy a selection of records, which added a unique and fun touch to our stay! We also loved the rooftop pool, with its stunning views of the city. It was the perfect spot to relax after a day spent exploring. Above all, the hospitality at The Otis was exceptional. The team went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed, and their attention to detail truly made our stay special. We can’t wait to return to The Otis and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a luxurious, personalized experience in Austin!

My stay at The Otis Hotel was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment you walk in, you feel as though you’ve stepped into a beautifully curated museum, with stunning artwork inspired by the classic LPs of yesterday. Music lovers will immediately feel at home. The art throughout the hotel is truly astounding, thoughtfully displayed and perfectly woven into the overall design. Every corner feels intentional and creative, making the entire space an experience in itself. The rooms are quaint but incredibly comfortable, offering a cozy retreat while still maintaining the hotel’s unique musical personality. One of the most fun touches is the musical options available to guests, which make the stay feel even more special and immersive. However, the highlight of our visit was the exceptional service we received during check-in from Deana. She was knowledgeable, welcoming, and incredibly customer-focused, setting the tone for a wonderful stay from the very beginning. This hotel is a true gem in Austin. Between the music-inspired atmosphere, incredible artwork, and top-tier hospitality, we absolutely can’t wait to return for another stay.

This is yet another beautiful Autograph Collection Hotel (Marriott) located in Austin. The hotel is near UT with the rooftop lounge offering stunning views of the UT tower. Our room was smaller than some other Marriotts we’ve stayed in. The decor and ambiance in the hotel lobby, restaurant and bar, the room and hallways is eclectic, understated and elegant. The Christmas trees are done beautifully this time of the year. The front desk service was excellent. And Acre 41 restaurant service (our server was Scarlet) was unparalleled to anything we’ve received at a Marriott or Hilton hotel restaurant. The only negative during our stay was the noise in the hallways (from loud guests who were laughing and talking) around 2am and 3am that woke us up. It’s unavoidable and sadly has nothing to do with how hard the hotel staff work behind the scenes to make everyone’s stay comfortable. Our room was several rooms away from the elevators and the rooftop lounge area which was a thoughtful gesture by the lovely person who checked us in. Saul greeted us when we first arrived at the hotel and kindly explained all our parking options, what to expect from our stay and local restaurants. All in all this was a wonderful quick Austin trip thanks to this hotel and their staff. See yall next time!

Great hotel. Valet service was wonderful. Jacob was able to take care of my manual transmission Jeep, no problem. Even threw away my trash for me!
